I went to Circuit City today and saw this labtop. I shook in its sheer awsomeness...

I'm thinking about buying it, but debating on my budget. I have to maintain a $1,000 deposit though and buying this might crap me to just a little over 1 grand.

Is this laptop worth it, or is there more worthy ones?

Eh... First off, there called "Laptops", not "Labtops". They go on your lap, not your lab. =P.

Secondly, I don't know if thats all that great or not. I know I wouldn't buy it, but I'm in IT, so that wouldn't touch anything I'd need it to be able to do. I always go custom built, but that one might be a good deal if you don't like custom building your machines. Looks a bit costly to me at any rate.

Meh, sorry about the "labtop" thing, its a poor habit.

Shelf-brand computers are never worth it unless you don't know about them. I would like to make a custom laptop, but laptops are a lot more expensive and harder to self-customize then PCs from what I've heard. I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon. The computer I use is basically mine and my bothers, so traveling with it isn't gonna happen. I need something to bring around, especially on vacation and such.

I looked at other laptops:

My budget right now is $3,000 can you people help me find the right one?
