this is really pissing me off, ive used various antivirus programs, ive used all the spyware programs i cud find today... I still cant get rid of this, i know which file is infected but it wont let me delete it because it says it may be in use, even in safe mode, ive turned off system restore too, still no hope. Ive tried everything norton told me, ive downloaded a Korgo removal program, and then it says it cant find it... where as norton antivirus says its there... has anybody got any ideas?

if u hadnt guessed ive been infected with W32.Korgo.AB....

if it helps the file thats infected is called saixhe32.dll and its in my system32 folder =\

No matches in google, so I'm guessing that's safe to delete.

REFORMAT :D.

Or... make sure that it's not running in the task manager.

Get Killbox and see if you can delete it that way.

Try this little startup list program, it helped me with a 4 day battle against one file.

thank you so much, that killbox worked, thank god i didnt have to reformat, ive only just had to reformat twice... dont ask... That startup list program looks useful, there's times where ive needed something like that before.

Anyway, this thread can be closed now, thanks for the help
