Yea, I'm not going to use the speakers, but still a plus. It has a good response time too, so I'm thinking it'll do very well.

::shudders at the LCD moniter:: for some reason i hate those....

I have one just like that, I seem to have no problems with it. But lcd moniters pixels are spaced farther apart so you can see the little black lines if you look really hard. But it usually doesn't bug me.
