This my monitor or something else?

I went to play vampire masq after work, i came home and the game worked just fine the night before this, and i reinstalled it deleted all files pertaining to it etc, and it loads in the back i can hear it.

When it goes into the loading screen for activision etc, it goes to a bouncing square that states.

125khz. 173hzwith a up arrow.

What does this mean?
Can it be fixed if so how?

maybe your res is too high? try changing that or even try new driver

Means the vertical refresh rate is too high for your selected resolution.

Try looking in the games config files, or lower your resolution before launching the game.

Had a similar problem, I just reinstalled the video drivers and it worked fine.

Much obliged i was convinced it was my monitor, cause my monitor is OLD, so it wouldn't of suprised me, i reinstalled the drivers, this game is quite buggy lol, thanks for the help guys.
