I can't help but, I think you can't get the mp3 player to work for CS because it could be in the code, enless its a external mp3 script or something.

i'll try harder and there was a game out with it's own MP3 Player and you had to program the play list, I think it was "The opera" (mad game, but to hard with gameplay, you do fips and stuff but way to tricky!)

anyways, i think that was a sperate thing. I wish it was a program for half-life in genral and all you do is change your auto-exe

This can be relevant quesiton because some sound cards can't handle having Winamp in the background alongside Half-Life, like my new one. :cry:

My old one could have Winamp playing, but the ESF mp3 player didn't work. The new one lets the mp3 player work, but unless I play midis winamp can no longer co-exist with Half-Life sound. :S

Still, my old soundcard couldn't do tons of games so I'm stuck, but an mp3 player would be nice for other mods.

i found its really ez to use the cd player that the pc comes with.. cause it can run with anything in the bg... (its worked with every pc i have tryed it with...

You put your skill to the test by vs.ing others? Than how much skill do you get when you just cheat your way through against others? It's a little like implying being a good player gives you the right to cheat!

And if you cheat, you're not getting real skill, you're just getting skills in terms of knowing when to pop outta the way and get your auto kill on the self-aiming AWP.

Its harder to get kill with aimbot + AWP then you think. If the person jumps, its does't "always" hit them. That's why I also use (du du du du!!!!!) NO-RECOIL HACK GOLD!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA! Oh, you can also use Paladin Hack + Punkbuster Hack, SO THAT NO LAME ASS CAN PROVE YOU HACK!!!! MUAHHAHAHHAAHAHHA! Ain't life great.....

Your kiddin, right? You get an UNFAIR ADVANTAGE! What's not to like? I don't HACK in ESF (I don't have to, because your all a bunch of n00bs), but I Hack in games that I know other peeps hack in. It's not really a "Trump Card", but its more like an "Equalizer". So many peeps Hack in CS, that its just not fun anymore. The only way to go, is to HACK! Catch my drift?

That's the arguement: CS sucks because the only way to survive is to cheat, thus ruining the game.

Still, I believe cheating can be valuable & fun at times. If I hadn't learnt godmode in Doom all those years ago I might just be "accepting I'm no good at 1st person shooters," rather than here kicking butt in ESF.

Not Everyone in Every Sever cheats! if they did i couldn't play! the point of the game is to have fun, sure you can't when your agaist a cheat thats why you have to play in servers where there is always an admin, a clan server.

I can see what you mean. Cheating subtley or when *everyone* on the server doesn't want you cheating ruins people's fun. But if people are fine with it, I can see agreeing with that.

Your 101-9 score is pretty good, but I seriously doubt that's the best there is. I think my best score was as Piccolo on Pepper City, I got 71 kills without being killed once! I died twice because the server lagged and I fell to my death during the lag, but both times I had over 100 health and a sensu bean so I think it's fair to say I never really died. Eventually the server timed out and I lost my streak. :(

The old forums had people posting ownage almost as good with Gohan and Krillin.

Cheating is for you 2 ppl that spend your time @ forums hoping to make friends, your co-ordination is so low you can't to anything else.

To KamakaziChicken: if "you 2 ppl" includes me, let me say I never cheat in a multiplayer game unless it's been agreed upon, or maybe to shut upanother cheater with a more impressive cheat. I can see the value of cheats, but using them against other people is BS.

I dont know how to get the MP3 thing in norm. Half Life. Sry. Maybe you can ask the ESF team for that part of their code...or something, I DONT KNOW.....;( .Oh yeah, w***ver said that they did better with a Piccolo and that I suck can just STFU, cuz ur clearly lyin. Does anyone know a game claaed the Opera? i know that it's Mp3 player Works outside of Half-life as well as in. What I really want to know is if it will work for more than one Half-life mod. I looked @ file planet and couldn't see. I'll look in more places but if you have if plz post your findings.

yes i am very good with piccolo and i can get a very good score when i try.. (i have alittle something we call skill.. :P)

but any way i think we have compleatly answered the question and disscussed alternitives so there really isnt anything to talk about....

They are both mods, they are both mods For half-life, they go on the same principale as each other, if you poke them, does it not do nothing?

The only possipal resaon i can think of is that it is in the dll file for esf, in which case can not be removed. But seeing as I can't read dlls. There is know way for me to prove that it is true or false (and i don't THINK it owuld be in anything as drmatic as the dll file)

With my crummy soundcard, Winamp & Half-Life can't coexist. However, I've determined Windows Media Player can!! (start menu \programs\accessories\entertainment\windows media player)

It can't open Winamp playlists, but the new version can make it's own playlists. So if you can't get Half-Life to work, you may wanna try WMP; both the older and latest versions worked for me.

P.S. It's possible to get an awesome score with ANYONE (except maybe Buu) with enough luck: once your PL is high enough it's almost like no one can hurt you, unless they use disks. Combine that with Sensu beans and a long server being up and you can own with anyone; you just need ****py opponents early on to get your PL high.
